Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears a grey cloak and cross-gartered blue stockings. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His fierce violet eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Norman was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Norman grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Norman. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gerald embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his singing with anyone who is interested.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Kody's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Kody was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Kody abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: To be a Sellsword again; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world
