Description: This younger middle-aged man wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt, and a wedding ring on his left hand. With bright black hair and a scraggly beard. His fierce brown eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Nelkin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Description: An older man who wears grey robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a bow, but if one is not available he will default to his halberd, he is not a threatening figure. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. He has a dull look in his violet eyes.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His childhood dream was to be a Soapmaker, but he was a colossal failure. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and balancing his hectic life and new painter responsibilities is difficult

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. She invites people to come help in her community garden.

History: She comes from a rich western family. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father; and an old rival family wants her found
