History: He comes from a rich southern family. Through the years after Quarion was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Quarion's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he has money and likes to spend it

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She has taken up work as a Seamstress and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Seamstress responsibilities is difficult.
