History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. After a long history of fighting, Riardon and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

History: The child of a Healer, who enjoyed hunting, Lance was taken on many hunting expeditions. His first spouse was a Healer, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. After a long history of fighting, Portia and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
