History: He is a Jackalwere in disguise. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Elves became a terror of the countryside. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
