History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Her childhood dream was to be a Gardener, but she was a colossal failure. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. A gifted student she started as a Navigator, but she got bored and became a Sage. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and wants to open a new tavern

History: Born in the north to a Barrister, Eldon learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He struck the Barrister job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
