History: He got into the Bather business at a young age. Qualen was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Qualen decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Being a Bather kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

His mother taught him the rudiments of the Architect arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Architect for hire.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Tiaathque was born on a far eastern desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Scribe. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.
