History: Mardnab hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Zephan embodies much of what other species detest in the Tieflings. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Bather arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: His druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature ceremonial dagger.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She seeks to pay back kindness whenever she gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip she always seeks to do solids for her friends.

History: Salanop was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. Being a Stableman kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and she has decided she is irredeemable
