History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. Her first spouse was a Ruler, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help
