He prefers to carry a scimitar, but if one is not available he will default to his hammer. His long chestnut hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is a Miller first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Azgrom was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He struck the Miller job and began his own company from there.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. A gifted student she started as a Scribe, but she got bored and became a Interpreter. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: She was born in the west. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and she is unsatisfied with her job
