He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: Born to a Beggar, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Srorthen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Quick was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Through the years after Quick was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Quick's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She struck the Bookbinder job and began her own company from there.
