History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Thiala grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Thiala. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.
