History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Pyra grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Gnomish companion (her 'brother'). One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Zephan fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
