History: Volen was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She found a children's book about a Half-Orc Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: She is a Butcher first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her childhood dream was to be a Interpreter, but she was a colossal failure. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Butcher for the past few years.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Miner born in the past three hundred years. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Moon alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Description: This woman is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of her veins is visible when she is not flexing. Her shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for her due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. She has slicked back golden hair. She has a dull look in her blue eyes.

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She has taken up work as a Barrister and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.
