Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She is a thrill seeker, she laughs at people and throws down challenges. She is highly competitive and combative.

History: She was born at the edge of vast forest. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shield.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: River hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, River has worked very hard to control his curse. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away; and someone believes him a fraud

Description: An older man who dresses like a well dressed Butcher does, he is not a threatening figure. His hair is brown and curly. He has hazel eyes and a white hat with a black feather.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Butcher for hire.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.
