History: Born to a Barber, his father struggled to pay the bills. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Grom alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: She was born in the east. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: To pay off her debts; and she wants to meet her childhood hero
