Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Born in the south to a Crown-heir, Miles learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Crown-heir work with an outfit from a few towns over. Crown-heir work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Description: She appears as an extremely gaunt Half-Elf, and stands approximately 4'11". She likes to wear ponchos typically of a light violet in addition to tight pants, and her gloved hand is found clutching a hand crossbow. She keeps her long white hair kept up in a rat tail. Her eyes are gray.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She plays an instrument quite well.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Laborer responsibilities is difficult; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: An older woman who is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior, she is not a threatening figure. Her long black hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. She wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. Energy wise she seems alert and responsive.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. In her youth she was a Tanner, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger sister on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. She saw the violence of war and the aftermath so she converted to religion and dedicated herself to non-violence.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and an old rival family wants her found

Description: This woman very much looks the part of a Tanner, and sports empty pouches on her belt. Her black hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. Her eyes are hazel and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Tippletoe embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. Energy wise she seems alert and responsive.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Tippletoe took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up club and armor she uses now. She tends to her Tanner job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Tanner responsibilities is difficult.
