History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He wears a robe, a symbol of the sun god around his neck, and a whip on his belt. He has silver hair. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is a great chef.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Charles fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.
