History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Salanop was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the south were limited. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Through the years after Raymond was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west.
