History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ortegar grew up listening to his father's many stories. He found a children's book about a Halfling Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. After a long history of fighting, Ortegar and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Trynnicus's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Hunter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and he wants revenge against giants
