History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

History: Arava was born in the south. At a young age she loved to build and create. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Arava alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.
