History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He found a children's book about a Tiefling Cleric who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and to reunite with his old friends

History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Gardener for the past few years.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and she feels kind of lost in life
