History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When Aelar reached his early adolescence his Half-Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Rinn was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Rinn alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
