History: Born in the south to a Servant, Syllin learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Her necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Emmeline was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Emmeline has worked very hard to control her curse. She became a Guard soon after.
