History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Carter born in the past three hundred years. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Carter but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born in the north to a Carter, Spring learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: He was born in a small mountains village. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
