History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Damakos was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Stableman they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Miner, and she later adopted a second daughter.
