History: He comes from a rich western family. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has achieved small success as a Bather.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She worked as a nervous Tanner and found it very stressful. She tends to her Tanner job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: Wants her loneliness to end; and she has a crush on the local bookbinder
