Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. A true patriot, Shump would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Shump was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A freak accident while working with his Tanner mother left him crippled. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born in the north to a Map Maker, Enidda learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.

Description: Dark and lean, she is a relatively plain woman. She wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. Her long blonde hair reaches down to her waist. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She likes to be helpful to her clients. She likes to prescribe proper advice to her clients. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.
