He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Jeweler they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Brewer, and he later adopted a second son.

Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
