Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Joan embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. Joan is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Joan alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Joan fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Gardener arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. A freak accident while working with his Navigator father left him crippled. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and to be a navigator again

Personality: She will rave to anyone who will listen. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: She was born in the south. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She has worked as a Bellfounder like her father before her.
