History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Ermina was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Ermina was born on a far western island where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Dyer. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and doesn't want to be a dyer and was forced into it by her family
