History: Agnes lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Agnes alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Slave Trader. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
