History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was granted divine powers by his dying brother.

She only wears one on her belt and the other on her back. Her tied-back hair is silver. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: She is a hateful person. She taunts others and blames them for her problems. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Half-Elven companion (her 'brother'). She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and to reunite with her old friends

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A gifted student he started as a Bather, but he got bored and became a Farmer. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and balancing his hectic life and new farmer responsibilities is difficult

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and she is greedy
