Berrian's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Her first spouse was a Beggar, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Crown-heir and was forced into it by her family; and to unite with her sister

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Mason. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
