Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. She is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Fortune-teller arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

History: Barendd was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother.
