History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents enrolled him in a Paladin school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Peren was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
