His father taught him the rudiments of the Ruler arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A freak accident while working with his Shepherd father left him crippled. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. After a long history of fighting, Lia and her spouse have recently divorced.
