History: Hoglik was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Commoner, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Commoner in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Nykkan was raised in a hard working conservative environment. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Dragonborn conditions. He now mingles about in high society.

She has relatively dark skin and is very physically imposing due to her abundance of muscles. Her black hair has been sun bleached extensively. Her eyes are blue and catlike.

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Elves in Keyleth's homeland. Keyleth decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Keyleth fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was born in the south. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
