History: Galinndan lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: She was born at the edge of vast island. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Olivia alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. After a long history of fighting, Olivia and her spouse have recently divorced.
