Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: Dariff lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature spear.

History: He was born in a small island village. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.
