History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered west to less war torn lands. Being a Barkeep kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
