History: Zephan hails from a village terrorized by brigands. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: She got into the Assassin business at a young age. She worked as a nervous Assassin and found it very stressful. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Oppleby embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Oppleby was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. He now owns his own business.
