History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gerald grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

She carries her fan with her everywhere and carries herself as the perfect lady. Her black hair is still thick. Her gray eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She will rave to anyone who will listen. A true patriot, Shamil would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Dwarven companion (her 'brother'). She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Dwarven artifacts is her passion.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He got into the Engraver business at a young age. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Engraver for hire.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and balancing his hectic life and new engraver responsibilities is difficult

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of brigands once and for all.

History: Aura hails from a village terrorized by brigands. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and she wants revenge against brigands
