Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Qualen embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. After a long history of fighting, Qualen and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: He typically wears brown cloth garments or leather armor. He is portly but not overly obese. He has a very tight haircut. His eyes are amber and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: This man loves painting and to teach people painting more than just about anything. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He was born into a rich family. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he has money and likes to spend it

Description: A woman of a pale complexion, she wears well tailored gowns and hats with beautiful decoration. She is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. Her white hair, when down, is lengthy. This brown eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Rohesia grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Rohesia. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: A 6'5" western woman, she very much looks the part of a Mason. She wears a small hat to cover her moderate length white hair. She is baby faced.

Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Mason. She struck the Mason job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and sabotage a competitor
