Description: This late middle aged man wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body and is in decent physical shape. His crest is scarlet and curly. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 74. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: He was born in the south. While he appears to be a normal Dragonborn, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Description: This man stands a little under 4'1" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with broad hat. His hair is cut close to his head. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He's also a talented Stableman, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Expand his business.

Description: She is a paragon of her species. She is larger and stronger than most Halflings. Her skin is light but she possesses many black ritualistic tattoos. She wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally she sports a red coat. Her hair is white and curly. Her hazel eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Some 3 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Alain never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He wears a green cloak and cross-gartered grey stockings. His brass crest is thinning but still full. His eyes are gold.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
