History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the south. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Carpenter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Carpenter work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Carpenter for hire.
