Description: This southern man wears skinny pants and wears a green and white robe with the hood down. His clothes are grease stained in places. His silver hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His eyes are gold and catlike.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. Balam is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Balam was born on a far southern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Engraver. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Balam fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She has always had a great fascination with Half-Orc culture. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: She was born in a small island village. Like her mother and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Detective. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 12 years.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: Thiala was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Fisher. She has worked as a Fisher like her father before her.
