Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Torz grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Torz. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with singing. She constantly tries to fill her life with singing. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and to clean up the streets

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His long black hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His hazel eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: Ernest is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He has never given up on his writing dream.
