Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. He has wavy golden hair. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Burto grew up listening to his father's many stories. Burto abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Burto fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Elven artifacts is his passion; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he is greedy

Description: This slender woman stands about 3'6". She dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over her head. Her hair, while still mostly auburn, has prominent grey streaks. Her gray eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She works hard and plays hard.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and she feels kind of lost in life
