History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She tends to her Soapmaker job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Dwarven artifacts is her passion; and sabotage a competitor

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
